At Inverloch Childcare we love using different materials to inspire and engage learning and what better way to do this than with natural materials. After our shell museum incursion we set up a shell play area for the children to continue their learning through exploration with texture, colour, size and patterns just to name a few. Our Turtle children experienced their first outing as a group on Thursday 27th April where they collected natural resources such as leaves, flowers, bark and pine cones to use in the room for various activities such as sensory play and creative expression. Using natural resources also help educate the children on sustainability and how to show respect for the environment.
