Outdoor play is a big part of healthy growth, learning, development and wellbeing, playing outside gives children the chance to explore the natural environment. Outdoor play can also mean more mess – and more mess often means more fun!
Judy the school crossing supervisor from Inverloch, and Julie the school crossing supervisor from Wonthaggi came to visit our kinder room to teach the children about road safety. Safety of the children is paramount to us at Inverloch Childcare and we believe its important that the children apply what they learn in the centre out in the community as well.
Inverloch Childcare is excited to announce the introduction of our newly developed Beach / Bush Kinder program, a first in South Gippsland.
Every fortnight our Kinder children visit Opal aged care. These excursions help promote a sense of community and is nice for both children and the elderly to interact with people of different ages.
Re-use, Recycle, Revive, Re-invent, Revamp, Renew and Reduce!
One of the things we aim to achieve on a daily basis with the children is to teach them to be Environmentally responsible. One of the ways we do this is through the reverse art truck. |
